Every once in a while comes a T.V show that you not only get hooked to but also fall in 'love', with the protagonists, the plots, the locations, the background score as well as the antagonists. One such show is BBC's Sherlock. With every 1 hour 45 minute long episode, you tend to literally 'get lost' in the storyline and wonder what it would be like to reside at 221B Baker Street and solve the most mysterious crimes of London. Not to mention the exemplary performances of the actors who appear to have jumped out of a storybook. Everything, just everything fits perfectly to make Sherlock a widely watched and appreciated T.V show. And it keeps getting better with every season!
Wonder why back home we never experiment and come up with more shows or soaps or sitcoms like this. Prime-time T.V in India is nothing but family sagas where 12-13 member families residing in a palatial bungalow, decide to stay at home and plot revenge on the house help for being overly dressed than the oldest member of the family!!
Anyways, Sherlock is a must watch, especially for Benedict Cumberbatch and his really hot British accent!!
